About the Academy
Welcome to Serlby Park Academy. Our Academy opened in September 1st 2011 sponsored by the Delta Academies Trust. As a 3-19 Academy, we believe firmly in providing our young people with the best experiences, the best outcomes and the best opportunities. We pride ourselves on our adaptability and willingness to cater for the needs of our learners as individuals, recognising the need to engage fully with our pupils, their parents and the communities they live in. We want all of our students to achieve their potential and we make sure that there are no limitations or barriers to reaching the highest possible standards of academic, social and personal development. We have a hugely talented and committed staff team, with a range of well qualified and dedicated professionals to make sure that our curriculum, guidance, care and support meets the different needs of every young person, and our high expectations ensure that our students are well organised, caring and supportive of each other and are also personally ambitious.
The Academy has a firm foundation of strong pastoral care and we ensure a climate for learning which is calm, well ordered, secure and focused on achievement and success. We are committed to working together as a team. We believe that by working together we can ensure opportunity and success for everyone. Every young person has unlimited potential, and together we can make sure that this potential is fulfilled. We enjoy strong working relationships with our Primary partners St Patricks Catholic School, Harworth All Saints, Mission Primary and St Mary and St Martin, Blyth. We collaborate with Delta Doncaster Academies to provide extensive 6th Form provision and we also work collaboratively with Secondary and Post 16 partners across the Bassetlaw area ensuring that the young people of the area receive every opportunity to do well.
In addition, we liaise with contractors of our Leisure Centre and the Town Council. We are proud of our pupils and continue to do our very best to provide them with a positive experience of education that will help them prepare for life.
